The redesign of Krechendo Trading was part of a batch of UI design missions for one of our clients. The objective was to challenge the existing interfaces solely on the UI side, and propose the most relevant and efficient design possible, while keeping the main lines of the current structure. The projects were given total artistic freedom. This meant that I had to make quick, pertinent decisions, with a clear understanding of what the end customer wanted.
The main constraint on this project was speed of execution. So I started by proposing different moodboards and directions. I then went straight to Figma to create the UI and sometimes a short brandbook or graphic charter.
Being a driving force in terms of both design and the incorporation of new sections was central.
